Being a Catalyst for Success
The Fulfilling Life of a Servant Leader
by Bill Wallace
Being a catalyst for success is no easy feat. However, with the right mindset and a heart in the right place, you can become a catalyst for success without you and others even noticing.
How does one become an inspiration for others to become successful? It’s simple; be a good person and live a good life. A good life is not defined by how much money you make. Rather, it’s defined by how you feel when you wake up in the morning and when you go to sleep at night. It all starts when you put others ahead of yourself and when you give without expecting anything in return. When you help other people, you receive a lot more because it’s your heart that receives the joy and happiness.
You live a good life when you do things for others and not for yourself. The saying “what comes around, goes around”, means that when you put other people first, the more you become first. In order for you to succeed and help those around you succeed as well, you need to be better. Don’t be a glass-half-empty or a glass-half-full kind of person – be a glass whose water is overflowing so that you can help fill other people’s glasses as well.
“A life lived for others is a life worthwhile.” – Albert Einstein
